Hi, I'm Raphaela. The studio revolves around two things I love: clay and lino printing. Some people come to find quiet at the wheel, others to try their hand at carving their first stamp motifs. What ties the two together is the joy of making — and the cake that comes with every longer workshop.
Both are beginner-friendly — no prior experience needed and no tools to bring. Pottery — from a single pinch-bowl evening to a multi-week wheel-throwing course. You'll learn handbuilding, throwing, glazing, and take home your own fired pieces. Stamp carving — we work with soft lino-style rubber and cut motifs for cards, stationery, and tote bags. A great relaxed half-day course, or a small gift project.
On a relaxed Saturday morning you'll carve your first two motifs into soft lino-style rubber. We start with pencil sketches and finish with printed cards — all tools and materials are included.
for Stamp Carving for Beginners
We let real leaves, ferns, and flowers inspire us, translating their structures into fine stamp motifs. Perfect for a small gift set or for printing on letter paper and tote bags.
for Botanical Stamps — Plants & Leaves
Four evenings to learn the core handbuilding techniques: pinching, coiling, and slab building. At the end you'll take home one bowl and two smaller vessels — fired and glazed.
for Pottery Basics — Four Evenings
Over two days you'll learn the fundamentals of throwing on the wheel: centering, pulling up, and attaching a handle. By the end of the weekend you'll have three of your own mugs for coffee, tea, or matcha.

A full Saturday in the clay studio: we build a larger bowl and a slim coiled vase. Coffee and something sweet at lunch — cake, as the name promises.
